Work Procedure of Development Branch

  1. Issuance of crushing licenses to Cooperative/Private sugar factories/Khandsari units.
  2. Collection of information regarding sugarcane planning and availability/submission of crushing-related reports.
  3. Scrutiny of Sugar factories crushing capacity expansion proposals and submission to the State Government.
  4. To do work related to the Central and State Agricultural Price Commission.
  5. Handling of sugarcane harvesting machine subsidy proposals.
  6. Collection of information related to sugarcane development meetings, conferences, etc.
  7. Coordination with Vasantdada Sugar Institute, Sugarcane Research Center (Padegaon) and State Agriculture Department regarding sugarcane area cultivation.
  8. Handling of subsidy-related tasks for standing sugarcane that couldn't be crushed.
